Good morning, everybody!
In January I decided to switch over to being a digital musician/videographer because of health reasons and time demands. So far, it has been a real winner on a personal level; I can still play as much as I want without having to chase gigs or turn music into a competitive sport. Music has been therapy to me for over 4 decades, so I’m working on continuing with that treatment plan.
I had the sixth monthly Blues Tiba (Therapy) open jam and networking event at Crusader Brewing in Bakersfield, CA on June 10th. The physical audience is stable at around 15-20 people, but our online audience was 99. That is pretty good for our first online concert (more about that later).
I managed to add an embeddable video player to our posts and share it for the first time and I uploaded several videos to:
YouTube.com@jtbutlermusic5442. Things are getting kind of busy.
I have the YouTube channel set-up for live streaming now, downloaded links and QR Codes for donations/purchases and managed to get the online store working properly.
And I still have to record some more audio for distribution, make the announcement for next months event and so on.
Yeah, things are kinda busy…
Thanks for following me on whatever social media site you prefer. I will be keeping you posted as I try to stay engaged in life and rotate my hobbies/interests.
